About

In June of 1985 the United Methodist Center for Senior Citizens saw the need for a place for adults who need supervision to be cared for in a protective setting.  The McCoy United Methodist Church opened their doors and this new ministry began. After 30+ years in this location, McCoy has since relocated to First United Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Bessemer Road.

The McCoy Adult Day Care Center provides a very high quality on-site program of Adult Day Care Services.  This includes supervision, health screening, nutrition, therapeutic activities, exercise and lots of love.

Caregivers are provided counseling and support in the care of their loved ones. Periodic classes are offered with information helpful to their situation.  Referral services and help are available when time for placement in a long-term care facility becomes necessary.
